Does my logo or text get uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything — QR generation and logo compositing — happens entirely in your browser. Nothing is ever sent to a server.
Why does adding a logo force High error correction?
A logo covers part of the QR code's data pattern. QR codes are designed with built-in redundancy so they can be read even when partially damaged or obscured — High (H) redundancy, about 30%, gives scanners enough spare data to reconstruct the area the logo covers.
Will my QR code definitely scan after adding a logo?
In most cases, yes, but scannability can still vary with the logo's size, complexity, and contrast, plus print size and scanner quality. Keep the logo simple and no more than roughly a quarter of the code's width, and always test the final image with a real scanner before printing or publishing it.
What image formats can I use for the logo?
PNG, JPG, and WebP are supported. PNG with a transparent or white background usually gives the cleanest, highest-contrast result.
Can I use this for commercial or marketing purposes?
