Frequently asked questions
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. PDF Split runs entirely in your browser — your file is never sent anywhere.
Can I download all pages as one ZIP file?
Not yet — each page currently downloads individually as its own PDF file.
Does this work with password-protected PDFs?
Password-protected PDFs are not currently supported.
Is there a limit on how many pages I can split?
There's no hard page-count limit, though very large PDFs may take a little longer to process.
Does splitting affect the quality of my PDF?
No. Pages are copied directly from the original PDF, not re-rendered as images, so content and quality are preserved exactly.
