Frequently asked questions

Is my PDF uploaded to a server?

No. PDF Rotate processes your file entirely in your browser using JavaScript — it is never sent to a server.

Can I rotate only specific pages instead of the whole document?

Not currently. PDF Rotate applies the chosen rotation to every page in the document at once; rotating individual pages is not supported yet.

Does this work with password-protected PDFs?

No, password-protected or encrypted PDFs are not currently supported.

Does rotating reduce the quality of my PDF?

No. Rotation only changes each page's orientation metadata — the underlying content isn't re-rendered or recompressed, so quality is unaffected.

Is there a file size limit?

There's no hard file size limit, but very large PDFs may take longer to process since everything runs in your browser.
