Frequently asked questions

How accurate is this converter?

It uses your browser's built-in IANA time zone database via the JavaScript Intl API — the same data source operating systems and most software rely on, including historical and scheduled future daylight saving time rules.

What does the +1d / -1d badge mean?

It means the converted time falls on a different calendar date than the date you entered. "+1d" means one day later in that time zone, and "-1d" means one day earlier.

Does it account for daylight saving time?

Yes. Because the conversion is calculated for the exact date you enter, it automatically applies whatever daylight saving rules were or will be in effect for each zone on that date.

Can I compare more than two time zones at once?

Yes. Click "+ Add time zone" to add more destination zones, up to six at a time, and remove any of them with the ✕ button next to its dropdown.

Is my date and time sent anywhere?

No. All conversions run locally in your browser using its built-in Intl API — nothing you enter is ever sent to a server.
